Meet Your TheraCoach, Donna Metta Jordan, MA, LPC, CPC

Helping women realign, reclaim, and rise.

I bring a grounded, compassionate presence for women ready for lasting change in Greenville, SC & nationwide

You’ve spent your entire life showing up for everyone else—now it’s your turn.

Managing the household, navigating relationships, pushing through career shifts, fertility struggles, or heartbreak, all while quietly wondering, “What about me?” You’ve been strong for so long that slowing down feels foreign, and asking for support? It’s almost impossible. But you don’t need to keep carrying it all alone. Not this time.

My work grew from a truth I have witnessed again and again:

Women aren’t broken. They’re burned out, buried under roles, and deeply disconnected from within.

I have walked many roads in this one lifetime. Through motherhood— raising both a neurodivergent and neurotypical child— while learning the resilience it takes to keep showing up when life is far more complex than anyone sees.

I have known the seasons when identity collapses beneath your feet, and the long work of rising again with deeper clarity about who you truly are.

I have walked through grief, loss, and the sacred awakenings that sometimes arrive in the darkest seasons of life.

Those experiences did not simply shape my life.

They forged the way I now guide other women.

TheraCoaching is rooted in over two decades of licensed therapeutic work and expanded through embodied coaching, creative expression, and mindfulness-based integration. It honors both psychological depth and forward movement.

My professional training includes:

  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

  • Certified Professional Coach (CPC)

  • Registered Art Therapist (ATR)

  • Certified Child Psychotherapist & Play Therapist (CPT)

  • Certified Reiki Level I & II Practitioner (CRP)

  • Trainer in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)

Over 25 years of clinical work with women, couples, and families informs this model. My work evolved from founding Weaving the Wisdom®, a counseling practice centered on relational and lifespan healing. I have also served as a college professor in counseling skills, developmental psychology, child development, exceptional children, and early childhood education— bringing formal academic teaching into the work I do today.

Donna J TheraCoaching™ draws from lifespan development, attachment and relational science, ecological frameworks, expressive therapies, and sacred space design to help women come home to themselves across the arc of their lives.

  • My time with Donna felt different than anything I had done before. She really listens and helps you see things in a way that actually sticks. I walked away feeling stronger, more at peace and trusting my own decisions again.

  • Donna’s presence is very healing. You just know that you are in the presence of a true healer with her and even if I didn’t know the reasons for things at the time, everything she said always came to make sense.

  • I didn't realize how much I needed this until I met Donna. I was going through one of the hardest times in my life and her program gave me a way through it that I didn't have before. I'm so thankful I found her when I did.

DONNA METTA JORDAN - WHAT’S IN A NAME?

The Meaning Behind Metta

If you’ve known me for a while, you might recognize “Metta” as more than just my last, (now middle) name. It’s been part of my identity since 2000, when I chose it during a deeply personal and spiritual chapter of my life. “Metta” (loving-kindness in Pali) became a guiding word for the kind of life I was committed to living and the space I wanted to create for others: one grounded in compassion, presence, and soul-aligned truth.

Though in marriage, I’ve since added “Jordan,” Metta remains central—not only for continuity, but because it reflects the kind of inner journey I help other women walk. This name holds the spirit of the work I do today: returning to yourself with loving-kindness, coming home with intention, and reclaiming who you truly are.

You don’t need to be fixed. You need to feel like you again.

The woman you’ve been searching for is already within you. Let’s begin there.
